Spokemead have recently introduced a policy to use the E-scooters that the government are trialling to commute to meetings & site visits within 3 miles of the office to reduce vehicle use. Nicole Rooney said “There is an E-scooter rank on our road, so it makes sense to use the scooters for those short journeys. Whilst it adds a bit of fun to getting around, we are also contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions in the business travel category of the Groups’ Net Zero Strategy.”
